I want to study Graphic Design in college. I have recently sent my college packet but part applying for Graphic Design at the college includes creating a Graphic Design portfolio. I was wondering what some projects are that I could make for my portfolio?

The picture any business house presents has to be eye catching. The quality of the logo of the business house has to be good enough to attract potential customers to the business. The world today is full of designs. In every aspect of life there are many designs. These designs are the base of the business house.

The world is saturated with enough written material which no one wants to read. Here Graphic Designing comes in useful. The quality of the design has to be excellent. The inferior quality designs do not attract.

Quality control in graphic designs means the use of testing to measure the achievement of a specified standard. Quality control is a method of testing any design. If the quality control is not done properly the product won’t come up well. Quality control is an integral part of the designing world. Badly displayed pictures or designs don’t go with success. Just looking good is not enough. It has to have the aesthetic sense as well. Minute errors in spellings or colours or for the matter alignment can malign the image of a company.

A structured quality-control program of graphic designing becomes essential when the stakes are high. MEET MIKE ESPERANZ Born in Manila, Philippines and raised in Southern California, Mike Esperanza has established himself as a sought after teacher and choreographer throughout the nation. With a BFA in graphic design from California State University, Fullerton, Mike’s approach to visual construction has influenced a unique movement orchestration on stage. His works have been commissioned by OCHSA, Mt SAC, Saddleback College, Santa Ana College, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Long Beach, Chapman University and Loyola Marymount University. In 2004, his piece “Cells” was selected to perform at the America College Dance Festival’s national gala held at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC In 2005, Mike was awarded the “Dance: Creation for Performance” grant presented by Dance/USA and the Irvine Foundation. With this distinguished award, BARE began. Mike recently choreographed for recording artist Deborah Cox and the national tour of SoYou Think You Can Dance. Mike is currently teaching a DeFore Dance Center in Costa Mesa, CA, Chapman University in Orange and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. DISCLAIMER For Inspirational purposes only.
